I was planning on using Lulu but you can't publish fan fiction, so are there any places that would publish it? I would only want a few books for me and my friends, I do NOT want to sell it. I'd want it to be like Lulu, but of course it needs to let you publish fan fiction.

The Big Book Of Fan Fiction?
Could someone write a book filled with Fan Fiction from tv shows such as FRIENDS, WILL AND GRACE, The Movie TITANIC,ETC.? Legally?

I wanted to do a story of romance with me and Mai together. I was thinking little things like giving her foot rub or something. I have been wanting to write fan fiction on Avatar Last airbender. I have decided that I will be in the story, and characters will be limited. The setting is in the mountians, in either a log cabin (cedar) or a Chinese style house like in the show already.

What are the laws regarding fan-fiction?
specifically:

1. What disclaimers do you need to put on it
2. Can you use main and/or minor characters (like from a TV show like Star Trek)
3. What is off limits for fan fiction - i.e., can you use locations, one-off guest stars, etc?
